GADGE MAHARAJ DHARAMSHALA (JJ HOSPITAL)
The club is associated with Gadge Maharaj Dharamshala which was started by a very old and reputed trust of Maharashtra known as Shree Gadge Maharaj Dharamshala Trust. This Dharamshala is located in the back side of the compound of the JJ Hospital. It has 50 rooms. Poor patients who come to Mumbai for the treatment in hospital of Mumbai are given proper accommodation along with their relatives. The trust is charging a nominal amount of Rs. 15 per person per day for staying in the Dharamshala. Lions Club of Millenium has recently renovated the whole building. Not only this, the club has started provision of food for the visiting patient and their relatives in the Dharamshala. Breakfast, lunch, evening tea and dinner is served to the residents for a negligible amount of Rs.25/- per person per day. Subsidy provided is financed by the club.
