The club has already undertaken a Great Permanent project at JJ Hospital Compound. The project has to be looked after by a special committee with Lion Dinesh Modi being a trustee to the board of Shree Gadge Maharaj Dharamshala Trust on behalf of our club. This committee will comprise out of existing donors for this project from our club.
We shall locate another major project to do something permanent and big for the society. This year the thought has been crystallized by the Club President. The committee has to work on getting suitable Land from Government for either Hospital or school, prepare a complete detailed project report, collect funds for such mega project, also get suitable grant from LCIF and bring the project to life within a time frame of two years. The committee will be large and will mainly consist of members who can undertake certain responsibilities pertaining to the project.
This is our Flagship project and needs very thorough planning and intense involvement. Not just committee’s involvement but also that of entire membership of the club. A strong committee needs to be formed which should get the work done.
A Great medical service activity by our own member and reputed Eye Surgeon Lion Dr. Prem agarwal who gives his own time and facilities to make the world blindness free. Committee is required to organize the screening camp and take up other issues related to the ongoing year long activity.
Another landmark activity, courtesy great enthusiasts like Lion Manmohan Mehta . The committee has to give an advance plan of camps so that members may be encouraged to attend and also to donate blood.
A need-based service activity of the club. Dialysis centre is managed under our own member Lion Jaikumar Gupta. Committee is required to monitor the committed help to the centre every month. Committee will also see that any request for a patient recommended by club members gets priority allotment for dialysis.
District observes Service Week twice in a year- Once in October and second time for Satellite areas in January. The committee has to plan out some need based projects in consultation with Board of Directors and to carry out the projects by involving members.
Club is already doing good activities like notebook distribution courtesy our senior member Lion Jugal Kishore Jalan. Some major activity needs to be taken up during the year.
We started Nandlal Chowdhary Lions Cardiac Foundation last year We already did few major surgeries under this. Under this we will get the heart surgeries done of needy patients, who suffer from heart problem but can nor afford to get the surgery done.

Club will start this new activity area. We will associate with reputed Old Age Home. In future will plan to build an Old Age Home for elderly helpless people of community.
