Heart Operation
Lions Club of Millenium helps needy and poor patients who suffer from heart problems. When a poor person is referred to the club by any of the members or other well-wishers, the committee studies the nature of the heart problem. The committee screens the economical position of the patient. On being satisfied the committee takes up the matter for further process. The process includes general check up, Angiography, Angioplasty or bypass surgery. The club enjoys excellent relationship with some reputed hospitals. Generally, 75% of cost of the whole process is organized by the club, whereas, remaining 25% is expected to be paid by the patient or his family. In extreme situation, further relief to the patient is also considered.
